Spinnaker Coating LLC, a manufacturer and provider of pressure sensitive paper and film products for the printing industry, has added a microsphere adhesive called Microtak to its product line.

Microtak is an ultra removable acrylic adhesive that uses microsphere technology to provide long-term removability, repositionability, and re-application on many substrates. “Our customers have continued to ask us for this type of product, and we are excited to be able to offer it on a variety of facestocks. It adds even more versatility to our removable product offerings,” said Joel Ulrich, Roll Product Manager.

Microtak ultra removable adhesive is currently stocked with 44# CTT paper, Primeglos paper, 2.0 mil Clear and 2.3 mil White BOPP, and PrimeScan film. A direct thermal paper option will be launched in the coming months. Common applications include: glass, building supplies, corrugate, and many other substrates where repositionability or reapplication is desired.

Constructions are available Trimless with a minimum of one roll 3” x 5,000’. This provides users with the ability to try these products on a smaller scale without having to order a full master.
